Plant Attack !

On a hot summer day, while we were inside, hiding from the fierce burning Sun, a giant killer plant approached the kitchen door.

Who knows what its intentions are? Maybe it is trying to come inside the house and get some shelter. Maybe it is trying to kidnap us. Oh no!

Quietly, stealthily, the giant killer plant approached the door. It held out its tentacles to open the door. Hmm, where is the door key, said the plant to itself. "I bet I can wriggle into the house through this tiny opening.."

Ever alert, Paula sensed the impending danger. She puts on her red shirt (almost as good as a red cap), and jumped outside. With a swift pinch, she held the giant plant by the neck. The plant was rendered immobile with the iron grip of the pinch.

"Oh no, please let me go, I can't breath", said the giant plant. "Please let go, I am fainting."

"Will you be good if I let you go, " said Paula.

"Yes, I promise." said the giant plant.

"Will you stay outside and guard the door?", said Paula.

"Yes, I will, I promise. Anything. Just let go." begged the giant plant.

So Paula posed for a picture with her new doorman (door plant), and saved the day. Hooray for Paula!
